Common questions
How does NoRetakes AI edit my video?
The app sends only the sound of your video to our server, which writes a transcript. An AI reads the transcript and marks retakes, false starts, filler words and long pauses. You get the edit back in the app, change anything you like, and save the final video to Photos. The video itself never leaves your iPhone.
The AI cut something I wanted to keep
Double-tap the word in the transcript to bring it back, or use Undo. In the editor, the ••• menu › Reset to AI cut starts over from the AI's version.
How do I start the free trial, or cancel?
Pick a plan in the app and tap Start 3-day free trial. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone › your name › Subscriptions › NoRetakes AI › Cancel Subscription, at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends.
I bought a plan but the app doesn't show it
Open the plans screen in the app and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings › Delete account. This deletes your account, projects and transcripts from our server. Cancel any subscription separately in your iPhone's Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
