Terms of Use
These terms are between you and Krishna Kant Chourasiya, trading as SmallTownDev ("we", "us"), the maker of NoRetakes AI ("the app"). The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms add the rules for our online editing service. By using the app you agree to both. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. The service
NoRetakes AI suggests cuts for talking-head videos: retakes, false starts, filler words and long pauses. To do this, the app sends the audio of the videos you choose to our server, which returns an edit you can review and change before you save it. The AI can make mistakes; always check your edit before you publish it.
2. Your account
The app creates an account for you on first launch. You can link it to Sign in with Apple to keep your projects and plan on another device. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings › Delete account.
3. Subscriptions and free trial
- AI edits need a subscription: Starter, Pro or Ultimate, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers can get a 3-day free trial, once per Apple Account. During the trial you can make up to 10 AI edits. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
- Each plan includes a number of AI edits per month and a maximum video length, shown in the app. Unused edits don't carry over.
- Ultimate's unlimited edits are for one person's own videos and subject to fair use (as a guide, up to 600 edits or 300 hours of video a month). We may slow down or pause use that looks automated, shared or abusive, and will contact you first where we can.
- Payments, refunds and billing are handled by Apple under its terms. We can't issue refunds ourselves; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If we change prices, Apple tells you in advance, and you can cancel before the change applies.
4. Your content
Your videos, audio, transcripts and edits remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you (transcribing, finding cuts, storing your edits) as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to the content you edit, and you won't use the app for content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or harms others.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break into or overload our systems, reverse-engineer the service, resell access, or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice; edits already saved to your Photos stay yours.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost content, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
8. Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
